Delete your Saielo account
You can delete your Saielo account at any time. There's no "are you sure?" runaround, no retention period where we keep your data hoping you'll come back. When you delete, we delete.
Delete from inside the app
The fastest way. Confirms with you on-device, then triggers immediate deletion on our side.
Email us from your account address
If you can't access the app or your account is locked, send us an email from the address you signed up with.
What happens after you delete
Upon deletion request:
- Your encrypted plan blob is scheduled for hard-deletion
- Your account identifier is scheduled for hard-deletion
- Your subscription history is scheduled for hard-deletion (Apple's records remain per their policy)
- Your active session is invalidated immediately
Hard-deletion completes within 30 days. After that, we retain nothing about you. We do not maintain backups of deleted accounts.
What we keep, briefly
For up to 30 days after a deletion request, we keep an audit log entry recording that a deletion was requested (not what was deleted). This is to defend against erroneous deletions and to comply with audit requirements. After 30 days, even the audit entry is purged.
Apple subscription cancellation
Deleting your Saielo account does not automatically cancel your App Store subscription, if you have one. To cancel a subscription, go to Settings → Apple ID → Subscriptions on your iPhone, find Saielo, and cancel.
Re-creating an account later
If you delete your account and later want to come back, you can sign up again with the same or a different email. We will not have any record of your prior plan — you'll start fresh.
