Terms of service
These terms govern your use of Saielo. By using Saielo, you agree to them. If you don't agree, please don't use Saielo. We've kept these short and readable on purpose.
Saielo is a financial planning tool, not financial advice. Saielo helps you model your money. Decisions about your money are yours. If you're making material financial decisions, consult a qualified financial advisor.
1. The service
Saielo is a software application that helps you plan your finances over a long horizon (typically 5 to 20 years). Saielo accepts your input through conversation, computes projections on your device, and shows you the implications.
2. Your account
You need an account to use Saielo. You agree to provide accurate information and keep your sign-in credentials secure. You're responsible for activity on your account. If you suspect unauthorized access, contact saiel@saielo.com immediately.
3. Acceptable use
You agree not to:
- Use Saielo for illegal purposes
- Attempt to reverse-engineer, decompile, or extract source code
- Bypass rate limits, abuse the AI conversation feature, or use Saielo to generate harmful content
- Use Saielo on behalf of someone else without their consent
- Resell, sublicense, or redistribute Saielo
4. AI and projections — not financial advice
Saielo uses AI (Anthropic's Claude) to interpret what you say and uses a deterministic engine to compute projections. The outputs are projections, not predictions, and not financial advice.
Saielo's projections are based on what you tell Saielo. If you give Saielo inaccurate inputs, the projections will be inaccurate. Saielo cannot verify what you say against any external source.
Past performance, market conditions, tax law, and personal circumstances change. Saielo's models do not account for every variable. Use Saielo to think about your finances — don't use Saielo as a substitute for advice from a qualified professional.
5. Subscription terms
Saielo is currently free during early access. Future pricing tiers may be introduced. If a paid tier is added, you will be notified at least 30 days in advance, and your existing usage will not be disrupted.
Subscriptions, when introduced, are processed by Apple through the App Store. Cancellation, refunds, and billing questions are handled per Apple's standard subscription policies.

6. Termination
You can stop using Saielo and delete your account at any time. We can suspend or terminate access to Saielo if you violate these terms or use the service in a way that harms other users or the service itself.
Upon termination, your data is deleted per the privacy policy.
7. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Saielo and its operator are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of Saielo, including financial losses or missed opportunities.
Saielo's projections are informational. Decisions you make based on those projections are your own.
8. Changes to these terms
If we change these terms in any material way, we'll notify users by email at least 30 days before the change takes effect.
9. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. Disputes will be resolved in the courts of Riyadh.
